Good Eating

Turtle Bay Bakery had the best breakfast foods:

Breakfast Burrito-Scrambled Eggs , House Potatoes, Beans, Corn, Mushrooms & Cheese Rolled into our House Flour Tortilla & served with Sour Cream & Salsa (968.45)

Crab Cake Benedict-Two Eggs poached over crab cakes & English Muffins with House Hollandaise & served with Hash Browns (1614.10)

Huevos Ranchero-Crispy Tortillas, Ranchero Sauce, Cheese & both Black & Pinto Bean with
Two Eggs served up unless specified otherwise (968.45)

and a few of us got the Continental Breakfast– Coffee or Tea, Fresh Fruit & Your Choice of one Fresh Baked Items (813.50)

For dinner we ate at Lol Ha...which was kind of funny immediately i thought text message's laugh out loud but it means waterlily but any there we tried the

Chicken Poblano...it was topped with walnut cream sauce didn't care for that too much (1549.50)

We also tried the traditional Grilled chops still a little different from back at home...that was one of the groups favorites. (2053.10)

Then there was the red snapper sauced in vinaigrette sauce that was also one our favorites. (1734.20)

Unfortunately foods here were a little more pricey than we expected so the next day we went grocery shopping and decided to only eat out one more time while we were there: at the grocery store we spent about 2582.55 pesos. Some of this was spent at the local market to buy fruits and spice common to the locals of the area at Super Chomak which is right at the entrance to Akumal. As we were shopping we were told that its cheaper and more variety at Chedraui. So we traveled there.

The last night there we there we just wanted something fun and laid back so we decided to go to La Buena Vida Restaurant

Here they had a little bit of everything at reasonable rates the most expensive item was only 387.40. There they had everything from seafood, burgers, American foods (a new venue) and of coarse Mexican. The atmosphere was amazing!

Can't wait to see whats in store for us next!!!
